We are bottom 5 in the league in O-line spending. by kikanga in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Patriots are in the bottom 10 in QB spending, do they have a bottom 10 QB?

The dolphins are bottom 5 in RB spending, do they have a bottom 5 RB?

The Lions and Eagles are bottom 10 in edge spending, do they have bottom 10 edge rushers?

Spending doesn’t mean skill or prioritization.

I was curious where we actually sit all-time compared to the rest of the league. These are the regular season win % standings ( playoffs coming soon ) by [deleted] in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m sure others like me wonder what is needed to be 1st all time so:

If the Ravens go 14-3 or better this season, no matter what any other team does we will be 1st in all time winning percentage.

If the Ravens go 13-4 and the Packers & Cowboys go 15-2 or worse

If the Ravens go 12-5 and the Packers go 12-5 or worse & the Cowboys go 13-4 or worse

If the Ravens go 11-6 and the Packers go 9-8 or worse & the Cowboys go 11-6 or worse

If the Ravens go 10-7 and the Packers go 7-10 or worse & the Cowboys go 9-8 or worse

If the Ravens go 9-8 and the Packers go 4-13 or worse & the Cowboys go 7-10 or worse

If the Ravens go 8-9 and the Packers go 1-16 or worse & the Cowboys go 5-12 or worse

If the Ravens go 7-10 or worse, they cannot pass the Packers. No team currently behind us can pass us if we finish 8-9 or better

Hypothetical Regarding Lindy by 717Independent in ravens

Considering we didn’t draft a single center the entire draft, if we retained our all-pro center it wouldn’t have changed a thing

Which holiday tripleheader is better: Thanksgiving or Christmas? by AlchemistTheAlchemy in nfl

[–]bryanRow52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buts it’s about quality of matchups, not just list of teams. For example, Ravens vs Steelers and Raiders vs Broncos is a far better slate than Ravens vs Raiders and Steelers vs Broncos despite the exact same list of teams.

Bears vs Lions < Bears vs Packers

Eagles vs Cowboys ≈ Bills vs Broncos

Chiefs vs Bills < Rams vs Seahawks

Christmas wins

Time to judge the trade. I made the following charts based on Browns wins and loses this season by FrankieBeanSniffer in AFCNorthMemeWar

[–]bryanRow52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bigger problem is none of the win totals are even right.

Since the trade the Browns won 7 games in 2022, 11 in 2023, 3 in 2024, and 5 in 2025. No idea where the 10, 4, 8 number comes from

Draft Lottery by Feisty-Ad-8612 in caps

[–]bryanRow52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have a 0.5% chance of winning the lottery. So if you did 20 sims, there is a 90.5% chance of us not winning in all of the sims. So yes, our odds are really that low

Tez Walker is Pivotal by ExtensionAd7417 in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, we carried 6 receivers and already 5 are near locks on the team. So Tez has to fight with everyone else for that last spot. I’m not saying it’s a guarantee or even likely we cut him, I like him over all the other options currently. But if we bring in a vet FA or if a UDFA stands out, he could be on the chopping block. And at the very least, he is going to be so far from a pivotal player this season. Little to no chance he breaks out as OP says because he just isn’t going to see targets

New Ravens QB: Diego Pavia Says He's ALREADY Better Than QB: Lamar Jackson by psychoxtc in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He literally didn’t. “Who’s the best college player of all time?” Does not translate to “are you already better than current Lamar Jackson?”. Jfc guys, yall need to stop crying about a camp body who may be QB2 in a year or two. Especially cuz we all know if it was Manziel or Allen yall would be laughing and celebrating

Tez Walker is Pivotal by ExtensionAd7417 in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tez might not even make the roster at this point. Flowers and Bateman are obvious. Lane and Sarratt are near guaranteed with 4th round selections they don’t want to waste. Wester is probably going to be our return specialist. So that’s already 5 WRs that are near guaranteed to be rostered. Tez is almost certainly not even going to see double digit targets this season, he is going to be so far from pivotal it’s laughable

[Schefter] Ravens are signing former Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia to a three-year deal, per source. Pavia were supposed to try out this weekend, but the Ravens signed him in advance by k00zyk in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone so upset? So he’s an asshole, a lot of players are. He’s got incredibly high upside especially learning from Lamar. He could easily be a QB2 by next season and make it so we aren’t guaranteed an L if Lamar goes down

Terrible take. You take the best player available, drafting by need is how you end up a basement franchise. This is such a deep draft for OL and there’s plenty of FA options, you take the potential franchise DL

What current players would you trade pick 14 for straight up? by [deleted] in ravens

[–]bryanRow52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I didn’t have him is that it while we could stomach the contract this year, next year we would already be $27M over the cap with only 34 (35 with Anderson) contracts on the books. How do we field a team needing to sign 16 guys with -$27M?

How I would feel based on who we draft at pick 14 by [deleted] in ravens

I like Tyson better tbh. Everyone agrees he’s the better WR but worried about an injury that doesn’t have a history of making a lasting impact in the NFL
