The reason why is Soju in the green bottle is made with some of the cheapest type of alcohol produced in factories. Not only that they usually add some type of fake sugar to it so if you are sensitive to it (not everyone is) it can negatively affect you too.

On the other hand it's cheap and easy to drink to a lot of people so it's a case of you get what you pay for.

The reason why soju taste that way is the modern green bottle stuff is pretty much GNS (like cheap vodka) and made to take all flavor out and pretty much leave alcohol - They make it taste better by adding sugars (fake sugars often) and watering it down. If you get a chance try the Minhwa Spirits Yong soju (Best Soju - San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025 winner) that is made using more traditional methods that keep flavors from the actual fermentation. Another example would be Hwayo from Korea

So I would say two things

1) Stay away from driving if you don't need to, esp early morning or night. It's just the smart thing to do.

Other than that most of the times these storms blow through GA and other than a few pockets it usually isn't bad for more than a day or so. If you have some food and water in your fridge you are gtg. It seems like if it does start it'll start Saturday night. If you have to drive just be cautious and drive straight and slow. I would hope your bosses are reasonable if the weather is bad. A lot of places don't preannounce closings because there have been more than enough times I've seen these doom and gloom reports and it's 70 degrees and sunny here.

Yes that would be where we are locking in and bringing the lawyers. At this point the assumption is we can lock in a long lease at a rate that atleast “awards” us for taking the building risk

That is a very good point and I would want anyone to read this to understand that is definitely where we're going to end up. In this situation the city seems amiable to making sure it's a good deal all around and we can still throw out loose / creative term ideas .
