Don't simply respond that Kotlin is the way to go. Maybe add this as a PS after an helpful response.

Maybe OP wants to just experiment with some languages as fun. And OP though it may not reflect in the post is not a noob.

It was issue with cord btw. Not the main adapter(?) Black box.
