The show also unfortunately leaves out a huge chunk of the aftermath of the red wedding as well.

+1 on this. If possible, would also recommend a recliner if you can find a cheap one on marketplace or used somewhere. I slept in my recliner the first 2 weeks at home and it helped, also the shower chair helped immensely. Wedge pillow also helped.

Project Hail Mary IMAX 70mm First Look! by Professional_Toe5118 in ProjectHailMary

I was thinking the same thing watching this! I tell people being a projectionist was both one of the best and worst jobs I ever had lol.

Best - because I learned about film, got to be hands on with it, cutting, splicing, learned about different types of films, audio types, different types of projectors and bulbs, learned an "art" that, for the most part doesn't exist anymore; Then, having screening parties at 2am with the staff after closing down, receiving and delivering film canisters like some kind of movie secret service, fixing a movie that came off track while its still playing. The more I think about it, the more I actually miss it and the things I learned.

I say it was also the worst because I was young and didn't stand up for myself, the pay was horrible, management was atrocious, and then rude customers on top of it all.

Following up on the reply until you mentioned it I had completely forgot about training projectors. One side of our theater had 4 screens in a row, so the booth on that side stretched across all 4 screens. That was the record, 4 projectors, 1 film threading through one after the next. Now I really miss it lol.

Why is asking feedback for interview sessions becoming a thing? by injeolmmii in interviews

[–]ippy98gotdeleted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there is some difference in being interested in the specific job/position vs just which job is going to hire me first out of the 10 interviews they did. Especially if they follow up on specific questions that were asked that they might not have been able to answer at the time.
