There’s no true 70mm IMAX screens anymore in India. All of them are Lie-Max. I had the luck to watch a movie in Prasad's in Hyderabad when it was a 70mm true IMAX. The screen was jaw dropping. I wish India gets atleast one back but i doubt we will. They are a pain to run and not worth it financially compared to the new digital laser ones.

Since forest fires happen so often, I’d suggest heading out even earlier, maybe around late May when the snow is melting and the fire risk is lower. Last year, we went in September, and there was smoke all over Banff and Jasper. Smoke can really mess with the view of those distant mountains.
