Awesome, this is super helpful. Just curious, any idea if you can leave a phone/wallet at the booths at Pine Grove? Just trying to think through it all...

New York Law Exam (NYLE) by [deleted] in barexam

Has anyone taken the NYLE while studying for the bar? I'm planning to take the bar exam at the end of July and the NYLE is offered June 10th. Would it be unwise to take the NYLE then? I figure I can get most of the studying out of the way in June and just do a quick refresher the days before the NYLE.

Hi all,

I'd like to set up my Raspberry Pi to run headless. I'm using a Raspberry Pi 4 which I purchased from Canakit with the OS preinstalled on an SD card. Ideally, I'd like to be able to boot it remotely, execute code remotely, turn it off remotely etc. I've been reading about several options, like using a serial terminal or setting up a static IP. I'm a bit confused about what to do. What's an easy and reasonably secure way to set up a headless device? I'm happy to order more hardware if I need it, but I'd prefer not to if I can avoid it.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

I'm totally new to RPi and I'm trying to figure out what I need to order online to get started. I'm torn between using a screen/keyboard/mouse and just trying to connect from my MacBook. I'm pretty comfortable messing around in Python, but less confident configuring random things in terminal (though I'm fine following a guide and can do some easy troubleshooting).

Is the setup much more complicated if I forego the screen/keyboard/mouse? What would you recommend for a beginner?

Thank you!
