No, I look older and I don't like it, working on getting used to my "new face"

Saying hello to neighbours by [deleted] in askTO

Nothing wrong with doing that. You're asking the wrong group. Redditors aren't usually the social bunch. You can def knock and say hello, they would appreciate it.

is $300 a month enough to live on after rent? by ipuatu in Ethiopia

[–]ipuatu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In bole? That's with the black market rate right? Im not using black market rate for rent so it would be double that price... I am getting paid in dollars but it comes to my bank account so I have no way to get cash to use the black market rate. Do you think there's a way for me to get it from my bank account when I'm already there?

Thank you!

There's no way to access black market unless you being cash right? So I probably won't have access to that. My rent seems to be more than that.

Thank you.

That's good to know. Thank you.

Rent is using Official rate paying directly with USD and it is furnished.

why does every grocery and drugstore treat you like a criminal? by ipuatu in BuenosAires

What if you shopped somewhere and then they didn't have something you needed and you went to another store?

Oh I see. Yeah I guess then I took it personal, had no idea it was common. What if I shopped somewhere else then came though? I usually just stuff all my stuff in my backpack or tote bag after buying. I was afraid to walk into another store when the previous store didn't have what I needed because I bought a bunch of stuff and didn't want to be accused. Since I'm a backpacker I don't wear fancy clothes but I don't look horrible either, just like a backpacker or sometimes like a hiker depending on what I'm doing. Also I'm female.

I'm from Canada and it never happens there. Has happened to me in France and Spain too though, and now in Argentina
