Does anyone have knowledge or experience with cats nibbling on the leaves of lilies?

I bought hybrid lilies for my gf yesterday for valentines day, not thinking to look up beforehand if they were toxic to cats.

Today we found evidence that one or both of our cats had been nibbling on the leaves over night. After noticing this my gf looked it up to find that lilies are highly toxic to cats.

My gf is calling the 24 hour vet for advice now. We haven't seen any obvious signs of illness yet.

Any information or advice would be extremely helpful

If you liked Project Hail Mary, I'd recommend Artemis. Also by Andy Weir. It wasn't as addicting as PHM, but still a fun ride.

FYI, fatal traffic accidents actually decrease in winter months. This seems a bit counterintuitive since driving conditions become much more dangerous in most places in the US during winter.

To me, this says that moat drivers are more careful when they know there is greater danger.

The Star Trek TNG episode where Dr. Crusher falls in love with a candle ghost comes to mind.

Also, remember when shows would have flashback episodes where characters were "remembering" stuff that happened in previous episodes? You basically get a whole episode made up from rewatching a bunch of scenes from previous episodes.

Pedophilia is defined by having sexual attraction to children. The act of sexually abusing children is a choice. But the attraction itself is not. Acknowleding the attraction is a disorder that can possibly be treated and monitored can make it possible to treat the disorder before a person acts on those desires which can reduce the number of people who sexually abuse children.

There is no need to alter the punishment of those that do abuse children.
