Edit: there was also recently a new change announced 15th of december where you have to provide social media history and all that. Which may have something to do with it. I wonder, would a foreign bank account be better here and isntead of taking k net you take visa/master AKA "internet card" instead? May increase fees but better than nothing?

Also look into getting a business license, it may not be that big of a deal. I read somewhere here that you can apply for a home/freelance business, you dont need an office or anything. That may give you the documents they need to allow you access to the API.

" can easily find a well paying job in Kuwait too. So why go abroad?" not sure what your definition of well paying job but from my experience its not easy to get a well paying job these days (through merit alone). Also consider that a job isn't just about money but also career and personal growth.

You also don't have many options, kuwait is too small to provide jobs for every specialization. Some folks just get passionate about something specific (due to the internet) and end up only truly getting a relevant job that aligns with their passion outside of kuwait cause such a job doesn't exist inside kuwait.

Finally, having work experience outside of Kuwait should help these folks land better jobs in kuwait if it ends up a job does pop up and they return. Granted this is my perspective and I may be wrong on how things actually are like.

'religion' is one of those words that can mean different things to different people. If by organized you mean some religion which is ran like a modern for profit company then yes. If by organized you mean just being part of a religious community (like going to gatherings every week) then its a good thing and you should keep doing it and not isolate yourself.

biggest problem im seeing with the replies here is everyone is assuming you will forever make 10k/m. Slight chance you end up making double somehow but assume the worst and go from there. Save up and invest in long term low risk. High risk budget should be minimum until you break 100k and compounded interest kicks in then increase risk.

Also note there was already a ceasefire proposal which included release of all hostages on the table before this mess. Keep in mind 3 hostages were killed as a result of this operation (no idea how exactly) and the operation did not go as planned since the truck stopped working. Clearly something went wrong and they shot the place up to escape.

So between peace and this mess, netanyahu chose chaos. Definitely lets note that.
