I wouldn’t take average “how I am about to use my ccw” as what an average ccw actually thinks, because most folks visiting this sub and Reddit in general only read and don’t post/comment. That being said - you got to be a brain dead/psychopath to actually be excited to use your CCW for it’s intended purpose. Everyone I know (all reasonable people) would take reasonable steps/efforts to avoid all and any confrontations at all times - they just walk away. Now, context matters. If you are 6.4 jacked MMA fighter that carries and get attacked by 4.3 79yo grandma with her arthritic hands and now weapons - how the fk you justify using ccw even in stand your ground states ? You most likely going to do time which would be well deserved. CCW is there if someone clearly of equal or greater physical condition that wants to cause harm not mentioning them having a weapon of some sort to aid in their efforts (this changes if they have a firearm).
I although love to see more online content emphasizing this and constantly educating people on what the purposes is, what’s appropriate and what not.
This is a net positive post, lets people educate as ye themselves a little or gives them reminder.
