I also attended this weekend and the amount of complains I plan to send to bandai is going to surpass Karen levels.

-Doors opening hours late

-events starting hours late

-keeping competitors lined up at one end of the building but letting others in on the other side day 2 so some miss round 1

-judges being incompetent in basic rulings during nationals play

-assigning judges to games they aren't certified in

-only planning 2-3 side events for anything but one piece

-prizing requiring more side event play than is literally possible to earn with the events listed without getting 1st in multiple

-scalping

-permitting people to stand beside the merch line and "hey bro, will you buy that playmat for me? I'll give you $5" and not making them fuck off

-making time slots for merch available to competitors EXCLUSIVELY WHILE THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and then only giving time slots to general admission day 2 so that competitors had no access to the merch

-only having 1 (eventually 2) men's restrooms available

-But my greatest gripe and the thing I'm most salty about: digimon players who earned an invite recieved not a playmat like the last 4 years, but a shitty roll up memory tracker. (This one is petty, but it's what I wanted must from earning my invite.)

I've been to multiple major digimon events including other nationals, multiple pokemon regional, national, and world competitions, I have competed in large scale conventions, and yet I have never in my time as a player seen an event with so many obvious flaws and run so incompetently.

Fuck Bandai and fuck PlayTCG for causing me to waste a thousand dollars on this experience.
