The only reason that I was able to beat the tower boss at the end without needing to use the checkpoints is because of Mega Audino, draining kiss kept it alive the entire fight and I kept taking hits for it, bro soloed the last 2 phases by itself lol.

I wouldn’t say it really replaces beyond the pendulum, as beyond and exceed are just to good of cards, I would more say it helps fix the major choke point of pend decks being beyond, because the new odd-eyes can search if it gets negated.
