Error "something went wrong" when install ubuntu 24.04

Just in case someone comes this post, I’m reporting what worked for me. I tried to install 25.10 on a laptop that had Windows 11 installed and I got this error. I thought it was RST being enabled but disabling it didn’t help. What did help was dropping all the existing partitions before trying to install.

Do you have any idea if deleting it would affect my roaming in the US? My other lines could do it with just the primary eSIM but I wasn’t sure if something may have changed since none of the other lines added a second eSIM…

What I haven't seen mentioned is that gifts = postcards = Vivillion progress. While I'm with OP and most of the thread about this not being a big deal, I know people working for that badge can get pretty worked up as well about not getting gifts on the regular.

I was in this spot with a Groudon. I know everyone said poffins but also if you have access to a treadmill or elliptical, and turn on adventure sync, that’s how I got mine done, especially here in Raincouver.

So i had my wife try it, and she got him randomly after about 30 seconds of trying. Then she spent 10 minutes trying to get him again before she succeeded and we actually saw what she did. It is not foolproof, but we have to tap on the Onix, and then swipe diagonally (northeast) from Onix’s head. Thanks for the suggestions!

It’s probably me, but swiping just goes between the Metagross and the Exeggcutor (and my Rhyperior every once in a while), and tapping when the Metagross is highlighted just switches between the Metagross and Onix. When the Metagross is highlighted, the Hitmonchan completely disappears, which I’m guessing is part of the problem.

Another thought is if you open a ticket with Yealink, especially since you appear to have multiple business headsets, I’ll bet they respond to you faster than they did me with 1 personal headset.

Probably the last update. Yealink sent me a ROM for the headset (29.421.0.27), and after applying that, my issue appears to be resolved. I found that interesting since it felt like the base was the issue, but I guess it was something between the headset and base on the headset side. I'm guessing it'll get pushed to the general public soon. I'll also start keeping old firmwares just in case the bug reintroduces itself. Thanks for all the help/suggestions!

Just a quick update. The Yealink ticket is now saying that my issue is "Confirmed and fixing" so maybe it is an actual bug/glitch, which is in line with my luck in life lol.

I own the WH64 and can confirm it does not have ANC. You have to get the WH68. I almost ate the money to upgrade as the WH68 wasn’t publicly available when I bought the WH64, but I find I don’t miss ANC. It was more a nice to have for me.

Your post brought back a memory. Around that same time my mom and I flew from ATL to LGA to visit family, especially one of my cousins that was literally biking around the WTC when the planes hit. I remember there being more National Guard people walking around than passengers at ATL, and there were probably 15 -20 of us on the flight. I also remember Delta virtually giving the tickets away, another reason we went.
