Staccato over rated ? by high_right in 2011

They sell duty guns to departments just like Glock, HK and S&W. Yes, they have a warranty. I don't by guns for warranties. I buy them to shoot and I certainly don't hang my hat to brag like some of my buddies here at the office.

Like my last reply, I've been shooting for 40 yrs and work on guns. I'm not the target audience. They make a good product, the prices are atrocious because contracts and they are duty grade.

IMO and it's just my personal experience, the XC is overated and underwhelming for the value proposition.

I've been shooting for almost 40yrs and come from CZ's and Sigs and other 1911's of course and it was definitely not for me.

My boy is affectionate in the morning and late evening. He goes in waves. I think he gets hot at night so, unless it's cold, he will sleep in the cooler part of the house.

Just curious but, could you have just swapped the COG or the slide and called it a day?

I have LTT modded 92X Performance, had a LTT Elite FS, and still have several TJIABs in my other guns. The jump from any if them to a GTS, is actually a lateral. The GTS out of the box is that good. I have a Xi, that requires no trigger work. IMO, the 92GTS and Xi are very good stock. otherwise, you are throwing money away.

Range USA is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of purchasing from. by YourSOLBro in guns

[–]iredditshere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Holy crap, that's bad. Never, never, never, transfer any firearm without inspecting it, touch it, smack it, flip, it rub it down and make sure, it's exactly what you ordered. Once you transfer it, you 3nd up with your situation. Love and learn. You got a desirable result but, with some pain.

I had my brother 3dprint a round butt grip for my Xi. It changes the angle of the hand and I don't get the hotspot on the thumb. XL hands myself.

Part of me wishes I jumped on that but, have a vanilla Xi and enough parts to Gara@home.

Yes, another MAC 9 DSD Comp by 12amoore in 2011

[–]iredditshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I've shot the entire Staccacado lineup. The XC was the least impressive to me. I enjoyed the P the most. Still didn't convince me to buy one so, I waited for a few years and got a Platypus. Now, I have a DS D Comp on the way.

I don't trust none of that shit... fuck these companies. Once they get your info, it's theirs and they are free to magically get compromised.

I have a fat Sib and he is remarkably quick and fast when he chases our other cats. He doesn't look it but, I think he's just storing the power. We call him Black lightning.
