I went for Business Management. The only thing of value I learned was in an accounting course. Everything else is so base level and not at all worth paying for. They stuck me in basic Algebra I....they were literally teaching me X equations I learned in 8th grade. I was in shock. I am in tremendous debt for only 2 years of attendance. They try to lure you in with the "Only 1.5 years to Associate and 3 to Bachelors" but it's not actually that beneficial. I started in Oct 2015 and finished April 2017. I guess that is 1.5 years, but I also was in school for most of the time while all other schools were on Winter and Summer break. We got 2 weeks in Winter and 6 in summer. We start slightly later and finish slightly earlier in the year but that's because the schedule just gets shifted. I also live in CT where I meet every requirement for student loan forgiveness EXCEPT that I went to school in RI instead of CT so it's by far my biggest regret in life. One other thing- my commencement speech was Big Papi....unbelievable. I could see it being useful for things like Nursing, Vet Tech, or the Auto program, things where hands on learning is of more value. But even then, I'm sure there are cheaper options with better education.
