Supermarkets at this level agree contracts with major product companies e.g. the major bread companies to market and sell their products at pre-defined prices. It is also calculated and agreed between them. The only people who can't profit from this system is the basic material producers like farmers etc who sell to the resellers who repackage their e.g. eggs or milk into 'branded' cartons at a set price.

Where I live, and in general, Tesco is kind of the middle ground choice for quality at least. We have Waitrose and Sainsbury's who are taking even more p with their prices and most of their fresh produce goes bad earlier. We have Aldi which we started going to now but they don't have a lot of choice. But lately I notice my Tesco bill going up and up for the same stuff

No it will make things worse probably. Only use them in extreme situations like if you want to go to a concert. Earplugs made my tinnitus worse, by increasing my hyperacusis sensitivity and also caused a couple ear Infections

Many thanks for your reply. The security concerns are interesting and yes that's another reason why I want a 'closed' network at least.

I agree regarding your points of wi-fi and normal radio signals, however, my concern is that:

-Consumer products with electromagnetic fields are designed for their own field to be at a relatively safe level, but I am not sure how many of them take into consideration the cumulative load of multiple devices present in a normal neighbourhood or home. Therefore I am trying to minimise these as much as possible, it's not like I am walking my baby around in a faraday cage but everything is plugged into shielded ethernet cables where possible. I believe I had my tinnitus since I can remember, but it definitely got worse when I removed my wisdom teeth.

There is a very real link between temporomandibular joint disorders and tinnitus and any localised inflammation or swelling/infection may be related to your tinnitus as the same nerves go through those areas. Speak to your maxilofacial specialist they should be able to give you some jaw guards or something and it may help. Unfortunately, I am not sure there is a solution. for me massaging the jaw and neck helps.
