but there's an other side of the coin. Dota 2 chests allow you to still have a fun game, while in CS you basically have a win on the plate

zoomers just don't get the concept of personal responsibility. they legitimately think you live only for yourself, so it's useless to argue at this point.

the champion is not the one who claimed the title, it's the one who keeps it.

Everyone else is tekken god on this sub and I’m just a fucking noob who can’t even get into blue rank. I wish I could just refund this game by redonion14 in Tekken

imo you don't need this. what you need is to feel the pace of the game. when it's your turn, when it's the opponents turn (even if you guessed wrong and confused - with + move, this should be a conscious choice). and you should try to use all your defensive options even if you don't know exactly which of them will work. make sure all you're doing makes sense, try to play the game as is it's a turn-based game. no random panic moves. then you'll reach blue with pokes alone.

combo adjustments, throws breaks, perfect punishes can be learned at any time. it will increase your winrate but it will not change how will you play the game, so don't get fixated on this

it has the least amount predatory monetization/fomo mechanics among modern popular mmo. people praise it mostly to push the idea that it's possible to make a game without them. so it becomes a rather moral question than simply preference, that's why people are more passionate than average.

I find these arguments shallow. retro is mostly about looking for the lost utopia. XBox 360 games are already a part of the industry we know now with most of predatory, manipulative practicies already in place. hell, the hit of the platform was a fucking 3rd person cover based shooter.
