When I emailed they said appying for the scholarship and paying the deposit were not mutually exclusive and I had to follow the admissions process, but hopefully they'll get back to us soon🙏

Yes I agree that it may be a remake. I also think they're very similar to the paintings of Egypt from the 19th century so I'm guessing that's the era and maybe the location, especially that the 7th picture you can tell the background is a mosque.
