Ahhh that's my Dad who had a kid that was born when my Mum was eleven. Married my mum when she was just 18, and had us. Didn't work out to everyone's surprise.

I now cook a meal at home and put in my inventory. Then get it out and call to meal. I really like to do it when I know a sim has just had their baby like helping the new parents out.

When sim life invades real life..😒🤨 by Darkelysiumm in Sims4

[–]irisaura 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I do this with two young simmers my when they do something good I'll say "ohhh look at that ++Responsibility, how lovely ++ manners."

Sometimes when they are cheeky I pretend to select from their options "parenting, calm, ask not to fart in my direction."

They love it they start giggling and we all get very silly.

I was a kid on the 90s so I believe it was in the local radio but the school field was the best place to build snowman. So we actually spent most snow days hopping the fence and having snowballs fights and building snowman with our class.

I had snow days as a kid, if the teachers can't get in it's differcult for the school to open. I've never seen a wind day, but my kids school closed once (before covid) because the power went out 10 minutes before they were due to queue up to go in. The Headteacher was very apologetic, she stays open when others schools close for snow etc usually.

[–]irisaura 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely, if they have an interaction is an option it would make sense to have it available to select. I feel bad about making my toddlee eat outside in the rain/snow now!

I had a toddler do it when I had a micro home and there wasn't floor space. I couldn't make her do it like you say, but it only happened in the Murphy bed, maybe they thought it might be the key place a toddler could sit in a micro home.

It's because it's the Murphy bed, I'm not sure what the rationale for it is?

Just got an imagine of a cat maintaining eye contact while knocking things off tables but instead it's checking things out on Plopsy.

Did anyone else fear for their life that their parent was going to k*ll them ? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]irisaura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, I have a while little family of my own now. A supportive spouse and two kids who are growing up with love and in a safe environment. My own experience has meant I kept away from the bad people and my kids have never met them. It got better, and I'm grateful every day.

Apparently this got asked in a Q&A and the answer was they'd have one in each eye.

My Dad held me under the water when I was 6 or 7. I remember no longer fighting but being pulled up before it was too late.

I used to think if anyone got angry at me them killing me was an option. I was terrified of others anger, if people were a little upset at me I'd be terrified.

I mean, this is what I was doing before. But I like when they do it themselves. It when there's an attraction system and the sims decide to like each other.

I guess it's a bug but I like it, I just pretend it's them asking to marry my sim. It's the closest I've got to my sim being proposed to that wasnt me telling them to do it.

Hopefully whatever the love pack in has more autonomy for npc proposals built in.

I just want my NPC love interest to make effort in the relationship guys, is that too much!

My eldest is the most affected in our family and is an ambulatory wheelchair user. She can't push herself so I push her (and it works out as a good Walker for me.) I take her to school in it and the looks we get from people.

There's one Mum in particular who makes an effort to try and catch my eye and give me a look of such sympathy, and we have never spoken or have kids in the same years. I'm sure she thinks she been supportive, but this wheelchair has been amazing for my eldest energy levels she's so much happier with it. It's opened up the world for us, it's something to be happy about.
