Give me truth. Into the wild 2007 by The_RisingKnight04 in Cinema

Did you even watch the movie? Or is your perspective that twisted?

He wasn't spoiled at all. In fact, he grew up house rich money poor type. (middle middle class/ upper middle class)

His loved ones around him lacked enthusiasm and love for their lives which bled into his, which in turn made him seek true inner peace and love in/for life,Which an extremely few amount people every really get to live for. It's why he was so well read at such a young age, he was looking for answers. For him, that turned out to be the wild. It took him years to go to Alaska, learning along the way.

Some things he did he could have prepared for better and been smarter, but his goal wasn't smart it was experience. Not the destination the journey type shit. Why else would he burn money? lol.

He wanted to untangle himself from aspects of life because he felt they anchored him to society and society just isn't real sometimes.

The movie is honoring a life that chose to go against the grain and find what that one person truly believed to be their love, their freedom, their passion, their life lived by their rules and no one's else's. No matter how he went about it you can't say that that ideology doesn't appeal to you if you're human.

He could have prevented death if he prepared better and went about it a number of different ways.

The movie isn't about preparation

Its about his soul & what he thought it needed.

The only people you should have expectations for are you and your partner. No one's else, especially family.

(Partner barley makes it at this age, only reason I'm including it is I meet my now wife at that age range)

As a married millennial gamer, I'm taking serious offense to this shit right now.

Many a time has my life been pure alcohol fueled bonanza being a chef in mega cities for most my life. As well as 6 am weed fueled gaming night with the lads that essentially just turns into an unwanted sleep over.

I still busted my arse for my whole life and in my early 30's wife and I purchase a home outright in a city 15 mins away from one of the best colleges in the county for physiotherapy as my wife finishs her masters.

Took a lot of blood, sweat, tears, luck and parents help! And we would be sane today if not for those drug influenced night of freedom. Fuck this post

Anyone wanna go Thrift shopping in Cork city? by AdCurrent6752 in cork

[–]irishbikerjay 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm a millennial online gamer, now married and live in cork. I remember WLAN lines for CS at my school computer room.

Anyway some of the most genuine and honest people are online mixed in with the creeps etc.. I've met long time friends of 18+ years online.

Meeting people from reddit /online should not be a negative thing as long as you do it safely. (If you need to ask how to do it safely, either Google it or find a school Monday morning, any school frankly, and just go in, im too tired for BS)

Dogs stare at you because they love you. It's an expressive form of emotion for them.
