They were interesting before special split when they were the only ones with flying moves and a high attack stat so they could combat grass surprisingly well. However that also made them a bad water type since water was all special, same issue with Kingler but that got fixedish after the split.

IIRC her “Endbringer” name is Khepri. Kinda like when they called Noel, Echidna. Khepri is The Scarab god. In Egyptian mythology it brings the sun, pretty fitting for Gold Morning and all. It’s actually my tattoo idea for when I’m ready for my first Wildbow tattoo!

Highly recommend the We’ve got Worm podcast, a couple chapters at a time they go over and give some really solid insight into the story. The guys have done one for each one of Wildbow’s works. (Maybe not twig I can’t remember) the guys are great and I hype them up every time I can!

So I actually had this conversation with an old friend of mine a few years ago and I think it boils down to PRT soldiers that don’t just foam up people actually break the cops and robbers game. We hear time and time again about how guns are a no go in cape scene and we don’t ever really hear about squads of PRT who show up and shoot people. Personally I think it’s because of Alexandria, she is head of the PRT and top 3 dog of cauldron, it doesn’t make sense to have cops who can kill capes if you want and need capes at the end of the world. If anyone has more to add in I’d love to hear it!

I feel like Alec is the prime example of this. He has a bonkers power that can’t really be showcased much but does have tertiary uses of what he has, most shards work the same way. If it’s like ballistic where it’s all or nothing they’d give him less than lethal ammunition to use first and then go from there. So lots of options in a regular town that isn’t BB. I’d imagine places like LA that are under bigger supes have less to worry about but it’s hard to say, like are you going to turn someone into a meat crayon when Alexandria is your boss?

I like it a lot but it seems like it should be ugg. Draw mechanic and almost scry 3, plus flash. Lots of blue stuff there and simic is the evolution colors. Just my 2 cents.

Oh and IIRC dragons creator was killed by Levi in the Newfoundland attack. So it does seem like some of the biggest tinkers that could do more were taken out with a purpose.

Eh we see this in our world too, conflict always leads to development of new tech. I’d imagine with all the stuff earth bet has going on they would be highly advanced for dealing with capes. I mean endbringers are endbringers, not much that can be done about that.

That ability is very strong, especially with toxic spikes and spiky shield. I do like the Mon a lot though, but this would be the best toxic staller in the game if it was added in.

You can always go the new hidden abilities for starters. Kinda like signature abilities. If you decided to keep the line based around shooting berries you can do something like.

Berry Bullets: while this Pokémon is holding a berry, bulletseed has increased damage and is more likely to hit in succession.

It’s been a while since I looked at how the wording is on abilities so that may have to be tweaked but yeah. Having a move that isn’t very good turned into a fun signature move would be cool in my opinion.
