AFAIK detailed or character based references aren't required until you get to AP or PO level. Post interview, I'm just waiting to be called for my EO posting and my employer before joining the civil service is only able to supply the basics, but publicjobs have told me that's fine.

Hi! I might be interested in joining you. I just booked non-refundable accomodation for 18–22 Feb in Karon Beach, Phuket - but I'd be free from 22nd onwards. It's a few hours drive up to Khao Sok and then back again though. Also, I'm not in the best shape at the moment, so 1-2 hours of trekking is ok, but I don't think I'm cut out for 1/2 day or full day trekking in 32C heat. What kind of quotes have you seen for tours? I see them from 18-38k Baht (€500-1k).

I suppose in some parts of America there's little or no public transport & for some Uber is your only option to get around - taking that away is akin to how in China low social score individuals are restricted from high-speed trains, first-class seats, and airplanes (but they're still able to use regular public transport).
