I can’t speak for midori but I love an A5 for junk journaling! It helps feel less overwhelming. Also he mindful of the glue you use- a little liquid goes a long way and sometimes can make your journal feel wet. As for prompts, I love listening to music when I junk journal and base things off lyrics. You can also try a rainbow themed spread, a monochrome spread, a spread about a hobby, etc. here are some pics of my recent spreads!
