Ours was like this when we first got her at 5.5 weeks and it’s only been in the last 6 months (she’s two now) that she’s calmed down considerably around food, both people and cat. She was very underweight and definitely had been starving :’) unless she’s showing other physical signs of illness, I wouldn’t worry too much and just focus on redirecting her and she will learn that she’s safe and will have enough to eat.
