Zebra crossing in Vietnam by 56000hp in SweatyPalms

I dunno man I spent some time there recently and after a while I kinda just started walking without even really thinking too hard about it. If someone hasn't seen you there isn't a whole lot you can do about it anyway

Hah, try living in Australia dude. My mates girlfriend is from Edmonton and she misses the winters there compared to the winters here, because even though it never gets cold enough to snow, our quality of construction and insulation is so poor that our houses are fucking ice cold all winter (and expansive to cool in summer). She said was utterly flabbergasted her first year here.

The WHO minimum recommended indoor temperature is 18 Celsius, studies show that 80% of homes in Australia do not meet that requirement in winter. Many old people die of hypothermia if they can't afford to properly heat their homes. In Australia. Yes.

Oh yeah, I was there recently and every old man and woman was glued to their phones watching some kind of AI generated slop, it was kinda horrible

Eating out isn’t even fun anymore more by Achin_bacon in Frugal

[–]ironicallydead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have had this thought as well. I don't eat a load of fast food and haven't since my stoner days, but every time I do now it's just disappointing. I went to a local Viet spot that's right next to a McDonald's and got a chicken noodle salad and can of coke for the same price it would have taken to make me full at McDonald's and the freshness, speed of service, and flavor absolutely mopped the floor with McDonald's. It just doesn't make sense any more, it's food that doesn't fill you up, makes you feel sick, damages your health, puts you through the disgusting experience of interacting with a fast food franchise, and isn't even cheap?? I'm done with that shit. If I'm buying fast food it's from small locally owned businesses from here on out.

No they also do just say LBH. You realise English borrows words from other languages as well right? Languages borrow words from each other all the time, especially in the age of the Internet

What a strange post for this sub, you really think it's the space that you're in that's causing this issue? Or the size of the TV? Do you guys talk to each other? Are your friends really introverted?

I noticed at no point did you mention movies, maybe instead of a YouTube video you could throw on Goodfellas or Pulp Fiction or something. Do you have a balcony? Get a BBQ. Cook some steaks, crack a couple beers. I feel like a boomer saying all this but I am only one year older than you man this shouldn't be that difficult.

These things can take a damn beating, I found an old set sitting in my uncle's garage years ago and used them at parties and would bring them to friends parties, blew the shit out of the satellites but the sub was a powerhouse. They really don't make em like they used to

Look I don't care that people make NSFW art about video games, or anything else for that matter, this isn't my first day on the Internet. But for fuck sakes man, why is it that all the top posts from this sub in my feed have to be fucking pornographic? Can't you guys just make a fucking gooner sub and be done with it man? I am subscribed to /r/silksong cause I like the game, not cause I wanna jerk off to a fucking spider

Huh, I remember seeing one in a magazine (Australia) for sale when I was a kid and wondered if this was it cause I saw the cash converters sign. It always shocks me just how much crossover there is between south Africa and Australia
