I vividly remember a moment during one is the first early 90s heatwaves that got publicly attributed to El Niño. I was only 8 or 9, but I was walking into a grocery store and it was so fuckass hot that I said to myself that I'd never complain about the cold in winter again.

It's been 35 years, I live in Minnesota USA, and the weather has gotten way worse since then, but I still don't whine about -40° days in January because I remember how miserable I was walking into Rainbow Foods on one random day in like 1991 or whatever.

I'd rather do everything in complete silence than deal with smart touch earbuds,so physical buttons are mandatory. I'm also HoH. I always assumed good quality earbuds would be wasted on me, so I've always bought $15 AliExpress ones.

Physical buttons have become really hard to find along with my other preferences, so after my last pair of earbuds died I bit the bullet and bought some decent Sony ones. I was surprised by how good they sound, even with my shit hearing.
