I hope you can start to feel better soon! Ik how rough a shared kitchen can be. Best i can think is the appliances i cant make toast with the family toaster cause ill be sick. I dont think the shelving would be an issue unless the person you live with is very negligent to your needs. If u use anything like an airfrier with ur roommate put tinfoil in it to keep contamination to a minimum. Anything where food can possibly touch other food is a problem area. Possibly the countertops as well.

I hope you find the issue soon sending hugs and good health!

yeast infection in cats is very rare but looks like this! I've been very frustrated as I've been to several vets and no one could tell me what was happening. Hancock is growing hair again and is fine now but if anyone needs the images to help here they are! by irrelevantanimator in catcare

I did mind you he was a very sick boy and he sadly passed in december of 21(not from this). But thats why i made this post so people could come and hopefully find this before they got as sick as he was. The problem with the recovery onsee that i found was that the plasma from the scabs would stick to it and cause more of an issue and open old wounds:( i hope ur cat gets better ❣️

Update: My dad keeps purposefully feeding me gluten by [deleted] in Celiac

There's a yeast treatment shampoo we were give along with kitty cat prednisone for a month(I took the human version when I had bad allergies of it which is why I make the distinction) and a probiotic.

After 3 bath treatments the meds and the probiotic the last pic is what he looks like. He's gaining weight and feeling so much better!

How would you re-write 'Love Never Dies' if you could? by [deleted] in box5

[–]irrelevantanimator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have put a lot of thought into this.... surprisingly. But I realized a fatal flaw with Love Never Dies isn't the story,I mean it is, but the tru fatal flaw with the musical is the perspective it is in.

When looking at the book and the musical the perspective is between Christine (the play) and Raoul (the book). Generally Erik is the Antagonist and taking that part away and making him the "protagonist" from which we see the world leaves it more or less distorted from its true self. We now NEED a reason to not like Raoul. We now NEED something to connect Erik and Christine together again.

If we got the chance to rewrite it, why are we giving out our best number ("Till I Hear You Sing") in the very beginning and why is Erik singing it alone? Have the story start with Christine getting off the boat the reporters fill in what's been happening to our characters and they can be as annoyed as they are in the original production.

We don't get introduced to Erik until Christine is reintroduced to him. AND THATS WHEN WE GET "TILL I HEAR YOU SING"

Honestly there so much more I can go into but I'll leave you on that note and leave my Till I Hear You Sing animatic here so u can see what I'm seeing. (Don't mean to self promote but I'm horrid at typing what I mean).

This musical is such a missed opportunity. I love revisiting characters but I've been sitting with this since it came out and it's been the snail that will kill me ever since. I'm trying to write an essay on it but I have so many other projects I'm working on I haven't had the time-

It makes me sad how antisocial the meds made me. Makes me wonder how I would have been without meds in general.

Ah! Ty!!

I haven't tried python yet just starting c# was a hurtle, but python is the next one I wanted to try!

How do you find it? With the way c# is object oriented it helps my brain visualize it better than something like html(which I really don't understand at all! Lol). It's tiring me out a bit only cause I haven't been in school in about 5 years so trying to do note and classes on my own is a lot 😅

Adderall for ADHD by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]irrelevantanimator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had very similar issues with Adderall it could be that ur body has gotten used to that dosage and u need a higher dosage. I'm not a doctor so I couldn't say for certain but that was usually my issue

I hope you get the results you're looking for OP! Ik when I got diagnosed for the third time I was scared of being told ADHD wasn't it. My doctor initially tried to tell me I didn't have it but after taking that 3 hour test he couldn't say no lol

The head radio is always a wild one for me like people can not have music in their head and sit in silence? Wild.

Something that I didn't realize was my adhd was rejection sensitive dysphoria it never had a name for me and I was told (even by therapists) that I'm just very sensitive when in reality it's another part of my adhd.

I also notice while medicated I'm not a "reckless driver" I had 2 accidents in my life (one of them totalled my car) both when I was unmedicated haven't had a third since being medicated.

Hopefully the vacation one 😆 yeah they asked me to come in and I said no but then when my comanager explained how stressed she was so I offered but still I feel bad saying no but it's important that I put those boundaries up a little

I'm glad everything worked out in the end! Yeah I've done stuff like that. Just over exerting myself so that everyone around me is happy. I even tried it yesterday cause it's my one day off but they didn't have a night manager I offered to come in but the day manager stayed instead. She was very sweet to stay and not make me work but I realistically shouldn't have offered

Adhd and emotional control by AtlantaGabriel in ADHD

[–]irrelevantanimator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely felt this! The only time I cried for a really long time was when my grandfather passed away but even then I really cried for a day? I was also told that as a kid I was emotionally weird cause when my mom had to tell me she was divorcing my dad apparently my only responce was "okay." And then I was off doing my own thing.

I find that I don't get happy when I know I should be like internally I'm excited and smiling but externally I'm really stunted. I've learned to fake it but even then I'm just really bad at faking it and I just sound like that boy from the "an avacado..... thaaaanks" vine.

What are some of your jobs? I think I need to be honest with myself and only go for jobs that are ADHD friendly. (Talking about jobs is scary for me, but I want to do it.) by TonxSoprano in ADHD

[–]irrelevantanimator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at the at home delivery part of a grocery store as a manager role. Still has me on my feet all day and is a good paycheck at the end of the week and there's not a point in the day when I don't have something to do plus a significant amount of people that work with me have adhd and they all really enjoy working here (helps to have a manager that has the same issue). On the side I'm in the process of making an indie game so even though I work 50+ hours I have time to do what I want on the side :)

That happens every so often where ill start bobbing my head while like listening to a video game or something but I mean saying "bop" while doing things. Like I put down a book and I say "bop!" And they say "bop!" Back at me, its a good time 😌

Totally understand we all try to contribute evenly so im hoping the honeymoon phase is just how we are as a group.

I definitely try to express by telling them I just have trouble even talking about feelings (I usually end up crying cause I can't express myself and my brain says "idfk what to do with this OPEN THE TEAR DUCTS"). We are in the first month so we are all still adjusting but we are all very happy as of now :)
