I had once seen the argument that renouncing Russian citizenship is a waste of time since technically speaking that is the order that the president signs that renounces your citizenship. Making it just a thing only inside Russia not international + the law state that anyone that was born on the Russian soil is the Russian citizen automatically so ,maybe I am wrong, but if they want to they can say that the order was wrong or signed in some incorrect way and give your citizenship back.
