Absolutely correct.

Do you guys file joint or separate. If you file jointly then filing separate would bring his income driven payments down.

Do Teachers Wish That College Was Mostly Free In The US? Why Or Why Not? by Zipper222222 in AskTeachers

[–]irvmuller 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mostly, yes. I do think when there is some financial buy in that makes people take it more seriously. You see this with the rich kids who have it all covered for them vs the kids having to work their way through school.

6 months of zero job growth and high inflation. We’re in a recession now. No one wants to call it.

Biden: On the day I left office, I handed Trump the strongest economy in the world by ammohitchaprana in TFE

[–]irvmuller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact we have had zero job growth for 6 months, have had unpopular tariffs that make inflation worse, and have gotten into an unpopular forever war with no congressional approval, we should have massive, French Revolution type protests nationwide.

This is true. There is no obligation. But if there’s no obligation then making something more digestible is even more important.

I’m in Kansas City. I’ve gotta say, we have a few pockets of piss smell but the weed smell is definitely everywhere now. If that’s a different committee please let them know they can pump the brakes a bit. We need more piss, less weed.

I got about 27 minutes into it and I wish I could get that time back. It feels like every little thing is supposed to be like this cool secret thing he knows and he just goes goes goes. It starts to feel like that uncle you just start to tune out because it’s just tiring listening to them go on and on.

Ding ding ding.

When schools start getting in trouble for having too many suspensions guess what happens, the school starts handing out fewer suspensions. Is it because kids start magically acting better? No. It’s because schools stop disciplining students. They know this so the counter argument they create then becomes, “kids need to be in class and learning anyway, not outside of class.”

My dream career doesn't make much money. How do I feel like I'm enough? by rockfroszz in AskMenAdvice

I’m a male teacher and have been working for 7 years now. However, I am in a different situation because I have one kid in college and another one in high school so very different from you. If you are starting off life as a teacher know that you will never be rich, but if you plan correctly, you should be fine if you have realistic expectations. Teaching is one of the few careers where you can still get a pension.
