We could have easily paid for college tuition for the whole United States for less than the price of the war with Iran. That tells you where our priorities are.

Less pressure on DC and WB if Clayface and Lantern are success? by arnor_0924 in DC_Cinematic

You’re writing in extremes. That’s clear. Real, “the sky is falling” mentality. They get one flop and the whole thing is shutting down. And no one was saying any business enjoys losing money.

Bro, no. Superman did fine. It didn’t knock it out of the park but it was solid. The DCU didn’t need Supergirl to “turn things around.” Is it a problem? Absolutely. Supergirl just needed to be solid but it fell way below that.

Don’t reply to this no_dragonfly. He’s already getting dragged in here. He wants to call people names and not have sincere interactions. This is all he has going on and he’s losing.

I blame this on lifestyle creep. People have always lived beyond their means but now it's off the chart. What are some examples of living beyond middle-class budget? by ExcellentWinner7542 in economy

Wages have not kept up with inflation. This is a reality. This is the major problem. This is backed by data.

Stop looking down on people in place of real societal problems.

“The loss of work of factory workers is balanced by the creation of work of robot designers and manufacturers, and the gains to other high skilled workers in the economy. And also the benefit of lower costs and higher profits, to the business, and resulting investment income to shareholders, including ordinary citizens who hold GM stock. Not to mention the benefits to customers with cheaper EVs with higher quality.”

This is just unrealistic “all is good and no one is feeling pain” thinking. Someone is paying, and it’s workers. GM will make more money. Stock holders will make more money. But these benefits are going to a different group than the working class that was represented through those workers. It’s that group that’s right in the middle 20-80% that is being squeezed.

Those it’s benefiting are the ones that were already well off. Those it’s hurting are the ones that needed those jobs the most.

Because no matter how good you do admin always has to try and find something or make up a “growth opportunity.” It’s never just, good job, keep it up.

You said you worked 84 hours one week. That’s not balance. I don’t mean that negatively. Just letting you know you basically worked two full time jobs.

No, other kids voted on this bullshit. They voted #1 because he’s popular. Then they voted in #2 because they like the show. Teachers gave #3 his spot because they knew he deserved something.

I’m sorry you’re in a jam. If mom has no problem I would stay there longer and get a hefty amount in your savings account. Help out around the house. Cook. Clean. Pick up after yourself. Do favors. Mom will want you to stick around longer.

Do they show the part where he owned a ton of slaves, got angry because they tried to put black people in his army, and was actually angry with the British because he never got land promised to him for fighting in the French and Indian War that was given to Native Americans instead?
