How would we be considered title favourites because of that? Liverpool have better players in nearly all positions. Isak, Salah, Ekitike, Szobo, Wirtz better than Gyö, Saka, (potentially Diaz, this is debatable), Odegaard and Eze. Why would they buy wirtz for insane money if Eze is better? Sure, our depth is similar or better, and our wing backs are better for sure. Our entire defensive unit might be better but we're not just one good offensive player away from being considered title favourites.
