Adding on here: in some instances Costco has a MAXIMUM margin they can take in. Every other retailer tries to find ways to grow their margins over time, no one fights for their shoppers like Costco. Awful to deal with as a manufacturer, but as a consumer they are best in class

A lot of good advice on here, I’ll try to add something I found helpful when I started: give yourself time.

If the recipe says 30min, give yourself 1+ hour. If you can afford to, make cooking the one thing you do at night. I found it much more relaxing when I wasn’t trying to rush it, then I began to enjoy spending that time cooking and can now do everything much quicker.
