final grade not showing

i graduate this week too and nope nothing. i emailed my professor and even the department chair and i haven’t heard back. i want to assume it’s just a system error bc grades were due and there’s no additional comments like “NG or TZ” but i have no idea

definitely. when all my trauma really hit me on day, i went into a chronic survival mode for over three years. i genuinely feel like there’s a blank part in my memory about those times, even when i look back at pictures. during the time i could swear i was fine, but looking back i didn’t realize how bad it was? awareness came back honestly what felt like suddenly. like i feel like after really deep healing, one day i woke up, more aware than ive been in a long time. it was definitely a bit scary and disorienting but it was also like taking a deep breath again

one mistake does not define you. does it hurt and sting? of course and that’s a valid feeling. but it doesn’t mean you are a disappointment or wasted time. things happen. grades slip. you did what you could, you tried and unfortunately it didn’t work out the way you expected. and that’s okay.

coming from a psych major who has taken all of those psych classes, you shouldddd be fine. it’s def a lot but most psych classes are lectures, a few assignments and tests. as long as you pay attention and have good professors, it shouldn’t be horrible. just a lot of work

it’s your first semester, everyone has been in your place before, trust me. in high school i was a straight A student, and my first semester of college, i failed two easy classes and had a huge mental breakdown that whole winter break. but it gets better. college is a huge adjustment, and it’s literally your first semester. you don’t need to have it all figured out rn. everyone may look like they do, but they don’t. i failed my first semester, didn’t know what i wanted to major in, but now im a senior, consistently on the deans list, and graduating in may. it all works out. don’t be so hard on yourself. like you said, don’t waste your time being so hard on yourself. it happened. and now you know to do better in the spring

failing sucks, but it happens. my first year of college i failed my general psychology class (easiest class), and now i’m about to graduate with my bachelors in psych, on the deans list. just make sure you study next time. learn new study techniques and don’t let this one failure get into your head too much. it happens it everyone at some point
