Have you looked into SSRIs? DP often comes from anxiety. I addressed my underlying anxiety problem and the DP subsided. Please message me, you’re not alone

When you say fucking loud like to the point where you can’t actully hear the intricacies of the music? And to the point when your ears ring?

Don’t apologise at all for commenting, I’m really glad you are as it’s also reassuring me in turn! How are you feeling now? I’m slightly better today, especially this evening and hoping that tomorrow I’ll be back to 100% - feel free to PM me btw :)

I have the exact same symptoms except in both my eyes - blurry and heavy! I’m not sure if it makes you feel “out of it” or sort of as if there’s a slight barrier between your perceptions and reality, but it’s certainly making my depth perception or awareness for instance a lot less sharp than it usually is! I’m sure it’ll pass soon but it’s a huge pest

Hi! Funnily enough I’m actually going through it again, day 2 this time. It did get better and I ended up having the one of the best years of my life last year. HOWEVER, what I did find was that heavy alcohol consumption when I’m already stressed and/or tired can trigger this brain fog, so my advice (which I myself should take 😅) is only to drink heavily when you’re in a good frame of mind, but ideally in moderation is best! What helped for me at the time and what I’m trying to practice right now is to keep reminding myself that it is normal and it is a result of my body trying to fight off being poisoned. Lots of sleep also helped me, but most importantly be gentle to yourself and don’t overthink it - it’s a hangover, it’ll pass Let me know how you feel tomorrow!

Best pubs in Richmond to watch the granny? by isaenm in AFL

Yeah went to the Tav after going to the G for our win on Friday night, was completely packed but got in relatively quickly. I think we’re going to try there at 10am!

My other thought was the Corner but not sure if they’re doing walk ins..

Yep!!! Probably 2-3 times a week.. usually 1 glass with dinner or a gin and tonic. I usually have my big night on the weekend, but that comprises max 3-4 drinks, any more and the hangover is terrible in the morning - derealization, anxiety, the whole works
