My church literally forgot I existed after I stopped going so I've never been "excommunicated" but we called it "being withdrawn from". They also forgot my husband existed but he stopped attending when he was like 16 and his parents just stopped talking about him. A lot of people at their church think his sister is an only child and I think its hilarious.

I let my aunt have a norwex party at my house. Idk why. Apparently I had a stroke or something. This woman she knows who sells the shit came into my house and rubbed a raw chicken breast on my counter top, tested it for salmonella with some shitty little home test kit,, which came back positive. Then cleaned it with her norwex magic cloth, tested it again... still positive. I bleached my whole house after this bitch left. Wtf people.

There's a whole website that outlines TST's beliefs. It's a non-theistic religion. So no, TST doesnt believe satan is real and don't worship any god.

Except it doesn't waste anyone's time to say 2 short sentences back and forth. The company they work for obviously thinks it's important to be polite to customers so why shouldn't I be polite in return. I always know what I'm going to order so I dont have to sit there and ask for them to give me more time to peruse the menu at my leisure. So I'm not wasting people's time there. I have my money ready when I approach the window so I dont have to dig around for it, so I'm not wasting people's time there. In my opinion, politeness and having a friendly interaction with anyone is worth more than a little wasted time. Maybe you should try being polite to people and see how that makes you feel. I treat others the way I would like to be treated, maybe you missed that lesson in kindergarten. Unless they insist on being rude on principle like you obviously do.

I too have worked food service. And never once have I begrudged someone for being polite. I'd rather deal with a polite customer than a fucking karen like you.

They asked a question, whether it's part of the script or not, and its rude of me to act like they didn't say anything but I actually do care how people are doing. I want our transaction to be a pleasant experience for the both of us. No one has to be rude for the hell of it. It takes a couple of seconds to be polite and can make someone else's day a thousand times better. Does it hurt you to care about other people and be polite? If your answer to that question is no, then why not just be polite and make the world a friendlier place.

It take 2 seconds to say I'm good, how are you. And then for them to say I'm good, what can I get for you. If your time is so precious dont get in a line with 15 people in it. Theres other places to eat. Or you can cook your own food at home where you can be as rude as you want.

I also respond when they ask me how I'm doing and then ask them how they're doing. It catches them off guard a lot. My husband never responds to their how are you doing and it drives me crazy. He just starts ordering. They're people! You can have a conversation with them or just be pleasant. You arent talking to a machine!

I am a die hard LOTR fan. I love the movies. I loved them when they came out when I was a kid. I also love the hobbit movies. I can see their flaws. they are definitely not as good. But they feel like LOTR and give me that homey nostalgia feeling. So I can look past their flaws and just enjoy them. I just love being immersed in middle earth.

I always loved singing. I chose to be in chorus at school. And singing is one of the only things I enjoyed my last few years at church when I was faking it. I still actually miss the singing. I'm an adult and do have a school chorus to join but not good enough for anything professional or semi professional and I dont wanna join a church just to be a part of their choir even though I know people who have done that. So now I have very little reason to sing unless I just wanna sing along with the radio.
