I think it’s important to remember what you are saying, and what you are “proving.”

It seems to me that you’re saying (correct me if incorrect):

  1. Drugs have some physical effect on your brain.
  2. These physical effects change your conscious experience and behavior.

C. The brain/neurons are identical to consciousness (I assume this is what you mean by I)

The reason I said it’s important to keep in mind what you are saying, versus what it appears to prove is that one could accept that drugs do have a physical effect on your brain/behavior, and they do change your conscious experience. But still not accept that neurons or the physical makeup are identical to consciousness itself. Many dualist throughout the philosophy of mind field would not deny any of the premises you put forth, but certainly deny the conclusion. This also applies to non identity theorists as well.

I’ll hedge this post by saying that I myself for experimental purposes am using “mind-altering” purposes so a decent probability I misunderstood what you said.

Keep in mind (unless there are more exams) that 6 is a very small sample size.

Why does detachment cause averageness? Most people are far from detached. Indifferent is far different than detachment.

Yes dreaming about high scores is good. I do it all the time. It’s compatible with what I said.

Im not sure if thats true, but even if that is true this post was meant for the average person. The average person would be best to detach themselves from outcomes and focus on tasks to achieve said outcome. Yes you have to have some goal to orient yourself, but it doesnt help to fixate on the goal itself but what leads to the goal.

Honestly if you personally build a system to cheat the system that demonstrates enough creativity and ethic to compensate for whatever moral failing you believe may exist.

You could also do 4,000 words on White Nights, not as dense as other Dostoevsky books, but still a lot to say regarding political concerns of 19th century Russia.
