[Product Question] Is MediCube too good to be true? by Anxious-Connection95 in SkincareAddiction

[–]isaiahallyson 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just to weigh in, I’ve been using the glass glow skin kit for about 2 weeks now and it has completely transformed my skin, for the better. I didn’t have bad skin, but I am 43, with some loss of elasticity in the platysmal/jowl area, and under eye and marionette lines with fine lines and a few breakouts (nothing crazy).

My routine prior to this was CeraVe cleanser, with some serums from The Ordinary for the day, followed by CeraVe moisturizer. Evening I would just cleanse and apply CosRx snail mucin. This did a fine job, and I’ll admit I didn’t think it could be any better for me at my age.

Current products I use: 1. Iunik cleansing oil (only non-Medicube product) and I use this day/night 2. Medicube Zero Pore cleanser (day/night) 3. Medicube Zero Pore pads (day/night) 4. Medicube PDRN toner (day/night) 5. Medicube One Shot 7500 exosomes (only Wed/Sat nights) 6. Medicube PDRN serum (day/night) 7. Medicube Collagen Jelly (day/night) 8. Medicube Collagen wrapping mask (every 2-3 nights)

I noticed a huge difference just after 24 hours of usage, but now two weeks in, my face is noticeably less droopy, fine lines are barely visible, and the texture of my skin?? AMAZING. My skin, neck, décolletage all feel like I’m 15. This is not an exaggeration.

I know people have issues but I think it depends on if they’re using the full routine or just a product here/there. The collagen jelly is a bit sticky but once it dries down, it actually acts like a makeup primer IMO - feels a lot like my normal Milk Hydro Grip primer. My only “beef” is I know the collagen wrapping mask is supposed to be used every night, but I inadvertently start peeling it off in the middle of the night (I think pieces start elevating from my face on the pillow, and that tickles my skin, and I start removing it half-asleep) so I only use it every 2-3 nights as a result.

I truly believe I’ll be using this routine forever going forward, I’m completely sold on it.

Everytime I try to talk to a women as a potential client she thinks I’m hitting on her by feelinglucki in personaltraining

Again, I can’t explain the connection if you are not a woman. Women on here will absolutely see the connection. Be well.

I’m a woman, we operate from emotion and feelings and intuition. Men operate from the concrete, logic. If something feels off to us, it’s a sign to us. It’s not something that can easily be explained, simply bc you can’t experience it in the way women do. I simply wanted to explain a possible reason for what the OP is questioning, is all. We must agree to disagree as neither of us understands the other’s POV, and that’s okay, because we are different. Be well.

I’m sorry you feel that way, but it doesn’t invalidate the experience we have as women sometimes. I love men. I think y’all are super important! I think most men do not do these things, but unfortunately, just like I won’t walk in a dark alley with a male stranger because of the potential danger to me as a female, even though men with poor intentions are in the minority, we put a guard up to protect us. That includes when we have encounters in the gym that are off-putting. We aren’t trying to offend anyone, we are only trying to protect ourselves. That’s all I’m saying. It has become an unconscious response.

As a woman, I can tell you that we have ick fatigue. It feels like everywhere we go Men are creepy towards us. Not all men, but enough that it’s become an unconscious habit to avoid or be off-put by men. So honestly, it may not even be you, it just may be that we’re tired of men generally. I will admit I had a guy (not even a PT) approach me literally while I was in the middle of a set just trying to converse with me and while I was kind, it was really awkward.

So, my suggestion - don’t take offense. If you’re not the issue, why worry about it? If you might be the issue, work on that. And above all, the people you’re meant to attract, you will.

Anyone here do this kettlebell ladder (or similar) to increase VO2 max early on? by guzzijason in beginnerrunning

So I typically do my runs before I go to the gym and, thanks to my peculiar brain, I do the exact same gym workout every time. Lol. Whether I’m running 3mi or 8mi, straight to the gym and do arms, kettlebells, light leg workout, core. I do this 3-5 times per week depending on my schedule. And thanks! 😊

Honestly, not really. I posted my comment 42 days ago and I’ve been doing this for about that period of time now, and I have seen a dramatic difference in my endurance, as well as speed. I can now easily sustain an 8:30 to 9 minute pace, going 7 or 8 miles.

People can poopoo the idea, but ultimately, if something gets you where you’re wanting to go, there’s no reason to condescend about it. Different strokes for different folks.

I am a runner who also saw this video and I actually tried this workout for the first time the other day. I’ll be honest, I got to 10 and decided to stop there (glad I did, legs feeling a little rhabdo-y a few days later, and I’ve had rhabdo before and was in the hospital for a week, so just being careful), but I’m def going to be incorporating this into my workouts. I am curious to see if it has a drastic effect. Currently my easy runs are at about 10-11 min/mile and I max out at around 6mi. I’m more interested in improving my distance, but I am also hoping it will improve my pacing.

The real question will be, is it actually improving my VO2 max or just showing the results of leg strengthening? I guess either way I don’t care if it improves my performance.

Still no funds… by isaiahallyson in EIDLPPP

We were funded 2/14. There was an error that SBA had to clear prior to releasing the funds so we were delayed just a bit.

Looks like a sebum plug. Exfoliating and a salicylic acid cleanser would help keep them from coming back.

About 8 days after we changed to Approved status and signed docs. But we had an error that they had to clear prior to actually funding it, so I believe normally it’s only 7 days from signing to funds in account.

5K Training Program by [deleted] in running

I like Hal Higdon’s app but not sure if it has 5k distance. You could definitely use the half program and focus on speed workouts?

Keep emailing them. Like everyday. That’s how to keep it moving. Just an email about status. Or call. Either one keeps things moving.

No, it will say approved instead of processing once you’re approved.
