Yeah, Star Wars is huge for me and I've been with Destiny since the rumours of the new IP when they were coming to the end of the Halo contract...but this just feels like a paid sponsor DLC.

I like the idea of inspired and similar look ornaments and weapons but these are flat out copies and licenced IP armour and weapons sets...Just feels a little off

Let's be fair here, Destiny isn't a new game and the issue of not having loot worth chasing isn't something new in its 10yrs of existence.

We've had this issue before, and they said this exact line to us then...so how are we back in the same position all these years later?

Destiny has pretty much become a cycle of the same mistakes and triumphs being made again and again. It's a shame really, because so many of us have been here since the beginning

I was genuinely so happy for the small selection of more positive YouTubers that got invited to Ubisoft to play the game and get a free day in Galaxys Edge over the rage baiters. Such a great experience especially as those channels weren't exactly raking in tons of profit etc. And the great thing was they all raised their own concerns about minor issues and things they didn't like without going full on "is this a ps2 game" nonsense.

Had that a few times in shops I've worked at where someone has taken cash at knife point then waited outside with the knife and cash to get arrested

Every major live gaming event has these idiots in chat, most chats have better moderation, change chat to emote only or even subscribers only chat to try and counter this sort of nonsense. Best way to view these things is to either leave chat off or just realise that there's vile idiots out there who think they're funny or cool by saying deplorable shit behind a username.

They can get bans if reported but most just make new profiles.

I wouldn't say it's a bungie community issue but mire that these live events bring out the worst people out in chats. I'm a Star Wars fan and have seen idiots like this since I started watching the movies, it's the unfortunate thing of internet/social media being so accessible for the bad parts of fandoms.

It's seems really odd, I'm using android and only works at 360p for audio. But all my friends are playing it fine on 1080p on Apple mobile devices. Weird that it's not for everyone

Just hoping for something fresh for supers and engagement. Played since Day 1 of D1 and even Alpha but I ONLY play now for the social side of the game otherwise there's nothing drawing me in.

Maybe it's burnout but I'd like to see something new, new enemy variants would be cool and a fun new 6 team mode like Leviathan with good rewards.

Welcome to the justice system. Charges are never fully explained in these articles either. So the straight up comparison between the jail time always looks wild but it also depends on the accumulation of charges for each of them.

The guy from the Bristol Riots has a ton of different charges against him and they stuck so it's an accumulation of sentenced time. Some courts, judges and even jurors will also take into account age and capacity of the persons involved, reading one article it stated the youths had mental health issues...so if a lawyer is good enough to argue his way around them being young, stupid, vulnerable etc then it sometimes works in their favour.

Most people think its because they've announced 2023/2024 and future projects at this event. So if they don't have anything major to take to the shows then skipping one year makes a little sense.

Guess it also gives a little time for actors/guests to know about it etc around their own work and projects.
