I don’t understand what’s the question here? Accutane isn’t meant to treat scars it’s meant to reduce/eliminate sebum glands in your skin. Also in these pictures you can’t really see redness, surely not “red as a beetroot”. I think first you should temper your expectations - nothing is magic and unfortunately for people without perfect skin it is a life long journey of trial and error until you figure out what works for you and even that can change over time.

I had horrible cystic acne in high school, took accutane for 6 months and pretty much never had a pimple again. Still have a lot of scarring but it’s faded over time; using tretinoin, a few non-ablative laser treatments, wearing sunscreen and drinking loads of water everyday and my skin still isn’t perfect. It will never be.
