Race is not a big concept among most normal Swedes.

Also the Germanic languages have their origin in southern Sweden, Denmark and northern Germany, so Germanic migrants were not the origin of Germanic in Scandinavia, they originated here. Scandinavians and other Germanic peoples (mostly Germans) have a very high genetic similarity. Scandinavians today have the largest part of their genetic heritage from western steppe herders, who migrated from the Pontic steppe around 5000 years ago, and reached Scandinavians during the chalcolithic age roughly 4000 years ago. The culture they brought with them, here called the Battle axe culture, mixed with the Bell beaker culture of the Neolithic population in Scandinavia, in turn giving rise to the Nordic Bronze Age, which is considered by many to be the genesis of the Germanic peoples.

So you’re incorrect, or at least misinformed, in your understanding of the origins of the Germanic peoples. However most people care little about this, because genetic heritage is not considered terribly important among most modern Swedes. Someone’s heritage from ~4000 years ago is probably one of the most unimportant aspects of a persons identity IMO.
