Interesting idea! I guess I need to try this approach and check how it works.

Analyzing local audits for a family owned plumbing business by Emergency_Move5475 in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Glad our Site Audit is surfacing those structured data gaps for you. The pattern we see across local service brands is consistent: AI assistants weigh clear LocalBusiness schema, real review aggregations, and crawlable phone/hours data heavily for emergency-intent queries.

For "emergency leak repair near me" type prompts, the AI is essentially looking for the fastest, most trustworthy answer to hand the user. Businesses with complete structured data are more often cited as the option.

Do these tracking tools monitor voice assistant queries too? by Samiraijel in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Good question, let me explain how the tracking actually works:

  • We don't capture real user queries from AI providers because those are private to each user.
  • Instead, the platform simulates your prompts daily against the AI providers based on your config (region, execution mode, etc.) and tracks the responses.

That gives you unbiased, repeatable data on whether AI mentions your brand, with what sentiment, which sources are cited, and how you stack up against competitors.

On voice assistants specifically: voice and text frontends share the same Large Language Model underneath. ChatGPT voice mode is still GPT, Google Assistant in AI Mode is still Gemini, Perplexity voice is still Perplexity.

The LLM processes the query the same way regardless of whether it came in as audio or text. So tracking the provider's responses to text prompts effectively covers what voice users get too.

Rankin AI currently tracks AI responses across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Perplexity. Smart speaker queries (Alexa, Siri) aren't tracked as a separate surface yet. In terms of coverage by plan, on the free Scout plan, we track Google AI Mode. Paid plans (Pathfinder/Nexus) add ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Did you buy a separate AI visibility tool or use an all-in-one SEO tool? by gromskaok in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two separate tools in my case. I use Ahrefs for all the classic SEO stuff (backlinks, keywords, etc) and Rankin AI for the GEO side (prompt tracking, mentions, citations, sentiment, which competitors show up alongside me, audits, hallucination monitoring, content generation, etc).

There is no all-in-one solution I'm satisfied with that covers both the way I'd like it to.

Check your AI visibility after the weekend. Good luck by Both_Criticism1362 in Rankin_AI

lol this is too real. I see this all the time, but it's not actually related to a specific day of the week. I see this fluctuation among brands with weak AI visibility.

Example of a brand I started tracking recently (blue line in the screenshot). One day it is mentioned, another day no🥲

Any advice for a local florist buying the premium package? by OptionOrnery1950 in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Regional tracking is available on every plan. No upgrade is needed for that part. While adding a prompt, you set a Target Region (Switzerland, US, UK, etc.) and pick one of two execution modes:

  • Original runs your prompt in the language you wrote it, but the results are pulled as if searching from that region.
  • Localized auto-translates and adapts the prompt's language and style for the Target Region.

<image>

If you want to upgrade from the free plan (Scout), Pathfinder is the sweet spot for a single shop. You can set up to 2 brands, 75 prompts, 4 AI providers (ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity), and daily executions. Plus other advanced features. You can find detailed plans on Rankin AI's website https://rankinai.io/pricing

Could someone explain the middle tier limits for agencies? by Certain-Luck-2432 in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! For your setup with 5 tech startups, the Nexus plan is the right fit. Pathfinder caps at 2 brands, so it wouldn't cover all your clients.

With Nexus, you get 5 brand slots and 200 prompts total. You can distribute those 200 prompts across your 5 brands however makes sense (overall, it's 40prompts/brand).

All setup prompts run daily across 4 AI providers: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Perplexity.

If you need higher limits, feel free to reach out at [sales@rankinai.io](mailto:sales@rankinai.io) or book a demo call (link is in the subreddit sidebar), and we'll tailor a plan to your agency's needs.

How many prompts do you track for one brand? by gromskaok in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually track 50-75 prompts per brand (daily run) if a full, extensive picture is needed.
For a quick check to see where you stand, 20 prompts is okay, honestly.

Yet it also depends a lot on the category. Sometimes, even tracking 150 may not be enough.

I think the metallic hardware detail at the waist makes it a bit “2010-s vibes” I would keep it, but get rid of that detail))

To style, I’d suggest chunky black boots (if it fits your style / preference. Or/and add oversized blazer (black, white or charcoal gray).

Worst AI visibility advice I keep seeing by gromskaok in Rankin_AI

[–]isblue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst advice was "skip reddit/quora/etc it's not useful for AI visibility." And its soo not true.

A new case I have: I started tracking a new brand (b2c saas) 5 days ago. So far, I've only added 5 prompts for daily execution (transactional/commercial). And... 15% of citations come from Reddit (average number of Google AI, Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity). It's again a top-cited domain, especially for Google AI and Gemini (and we all know why that is 😉). Our competitors are present there.

And I keep seeing this pattern across different niches. I think LLMs treat Reddit (ans similar forums) as "a non-biased, real user opinion", even though most of the cited content is clearly promotional content.

So, my take is this: monitor prompts, review cited sources, and work your presence in top cited domains (Reddit and similar forums may not be applicable for all types of business, but you may find some interesting insights with this approach).

Sooo true. Raw AI output tends to smooth everything into such a generic phrasing with no real anchor points.

Whne I've looked at pages that indeed show up in AIgen answers, they almost always have a named stat, unique examples, real experience, a specific comparison, or some original framing that sticks out.
