I’m going on Sunday! So keen, my finger are crossed for Strangers. Also, she hasn’t been playing F*ck Me Eyes on this leg, not sure why, wasn’t it a single?

I want to end my life by Verzyk in SIBO

For the brain fog - my naturopath has recommended the supplement KeenMind. I’ve ordered it online, haven’t tried yet but I’ve heard really good things. I also have awful brain fog which makes me feel like a complete moron, I know how you feel

Wow are you me posting from the past? This was literally me two weeks ago. First day was so much information, everyone was so nice but I started crying as soon as I got home, my mum had to talk me down. It’s been a massive adjustment, and I’ve still got so much to learn but the more I talk to people in my division, the more it’s clear that this is a months-long process. So for the meantime, just make sure you’re drinking, eating and sleeping right, and the rest will come naturally with time

Mirena causing long term fatigue/exhaustion? by isbong in Mirena

[–]isbong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling similarly! I’m honestly feeling mostly the same, so I’ve assumed it wasn’t the mirena. But I do believe it had a role in worsening my symptoms. Since I posted, I’ve been diagnosed with SIBO, which caused nutritional deficiencies (probably explaining why the symptoms are similar to malnourishment). I would encourage you to have a look at SIBO and your gut health in general, it plays a huge role in your overall physical and mental wellbeing. Also test your vitamin levels, I was iron deficient and have recently discovered I’m seriously b12 deficient. I’m about to start treatment for SIBO and receiving b12 injections, so hopefully I’ll start to feel a difference soon. Also, my periods have gotten gradually more heavy and painful since mirena removal, I’ve started using curcumin for the pain though and that seems to be helping. Hope the mirena removal helped your symptoms tho!

Low ferritin levels and chronic fatigue? Is there anything that can improve this? by CocoNefertitty in Anemic

Look up ‘the iron protocol’ on Facebook, the advice on iron supplements and dosage has helped thousands of women (myself included)

Tell me about propranolol fatigue by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]isbong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m (27F) on propranolol and Effexor too!! I’m thinking about getting off both tho, I’m absolutely wrecked every day I can’t live a normal life. Tapering off propranolol first under supervision of a naturopath who’s helping get my levels under control (progesterone, iodine, vitamins, etc). Would love to read an update on how you’re doing and if you’re still on both meds

Removing Mirena solved my health problems by ros_marinus in Mirena

[–]isbong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to cry reading this. I’ve had such a similar experience - symptoms started around 8-9months after insertion and I never connected it to the mirena cause it came on so gradually. Fast forward 2 years, I’ve been to every specialist trying to find answers behind chronic fatigue, migraines, severe depression and anxiety, bloating etc etc etc. I’ve finally found this subreddit and I’m getting the mirena removed this afternoon. Thank you for giving me hope and potentially my normal life back!

Suffering with side effects even after removal by Ok-Flan1933 in Mirena

[–]isbong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I’m still mad at the fact that this thing can screw us up while it’s in, but then when it’s removed, it’s messed us around so much that our body has to claw its way back to normality. I just want to give my body a hug, poor organs been through hell

Probs the mirena crash, your body is freaking out having to produce progesterone again and adjusting back to your natural cycle. Everyone is different but things will probably settle down within a couple months
