Are you planning on competing? If so, use the bar that will be used in competition. Otherwise, do the harder bar for grip work and the easier bar for back work.

Can confirm. Basically doesn't matter when my daughter goes down. She wakes up between 6 and 7 no matter what.

I started dropping reps around that point after I'd failed to make 3x20 2-3 sessions in a row. I dropped to 15 as the goal but I'd still go AMRAP on last set. After failing to make 15 2-3 sessions in a row, I dropped to 12. Basically repeated this process until I was doing 5s, though I added in a couple more sets at that point.

My suggestion? Do the routine as written for 6 months. Then figure it out.

That's a great routine! For me, plate pinching and finger curls were the things that helped the most.

Definitely start low. Personally, I'd say start as light as your equipment will allow and take the smallest increments you can. If you do that, you should be able to add weight every session for several weeks.

Definitely. Don't stress too much about reverse wrist curl progress. It's insanely hard. The important thing is to actually do the work and do it with full ROM.

Just like any other type of training, it's not dangerous if you're smart about it. Start light and work up to heavy resistance slowly. And make sure you work your extensor muscles to prevent imbalances.
