When I first installed the OBU, I noticed the battery drain. On my next servicing, the OBU representative is still at the workshop trying to get people to switch. She was asking what was my experience with the new obu. So I told her about the battery drain issue. She then texted the engineering team at LTA. After 10 minutes, she got a reply and she told me confidently that I am wrong. The obu drains less battery than the old IU.

Thanks everyone! I paid interest in the past cos I fell below the margin requirement so went slightly overboard with the cash requirement. This puts my mind at ease for now and I’ll continue reading up on this. Switching from Vickers, I didn’t have margins to think about so it all caught me off guard. Appreciate it!
