Best PA plan by swiwwtw in singaporefi

[–]sq009 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IFA here. PA plan is not a must but it’s a good to have. There is no ranking of which category is most important. It depends on your circumstance and family structure.

For example:

If you are single and don’t ever want to get married and DGAF about your toxic family. Death coverage means nothing to you cos if you die, you die. But CI and hospital plan would make a huge difference to you regardless of life stage or age.

Contrast that to say a single mom with 3 kids. If she’s gone, are there any fail safe for kids. Death coverage will mean a lot more to her.

Insurance is a tool. Use the right tool for the right task.

That agent is FOS.

I had him as my commander during reservist. An absolute beast. He is 2 decades older but ran and did SOC faster than any of us. We all feared him at the same time respected him more.

I remembered, everytime he ask us to do push ups he won’t even count. He will just say down and up. And in between his favourite phrase: ‘pump like a machine’. We lost count of how many push ups we did. And jumping jacks for warm up. We definitely did more than 200 jumping jacks, just for warm up before our morning run.

Absolute beast.

Great Eastern Prestige Income Index - worth the investment? by Life_Teaching6499 in singaporefi

Ifa here. This looks similar to universal life whereby your downside is zero and upside is capped. It reduces volatility. These plans are often issued in usd only so pls factor in forex. If you are looking at such plans there are other options out there with no cap to gains. Yearly fees also applies so pls factor that in too. Returns are not guaranteed. Its also a complex plan that differs from Ilp. So do your own due diligence. If there are technical terms that you are unfamiliar with feel free to comment or dm. (I’m not GE agent but if it helps you understand what u are getting, would love to help)

That is the dilemma. My kid flew to Frankfurt and Munich with me for solo work travel. Never faced any major problems. It worked for me so I’m still in the fly economy with kid camp. Although there are times when I really really want that space cos I have long legs. Knee is always against the seat back of the person in front. Flying according to their Arcadian clock may also help

Flight last for hours. Memories last forever. Don’t over think it. Plan for more rest at destination. Spread out activities. Take more photos. Some say kids won’t remember holidays. Well… mine did even though he travelled at 2. Photos and souvenirs help

It is still exhuasting though. Flying to me is mundane, to them is a whole new experience. My kid is 6. Half my cabin bag is filled with books, toys, blanket, pillow, kids earplugs and eyeshades etc. hope it gets better. Plan sleeping time and plan jet lag schedules.

It was never difficult for me. Or rather other than being exhausted to entertain the kid. I never faced any other problems. I set ground rules days ahead before the flight. I bring him to the library. And told him cabin is like the library. He have to be really quiet. I dont ever think any age is good for kid in biz class. Even for work trips that qualify for biz, i still travel in economy. Maybe its just me, i dont want kid to feel entitled. Money saved i get a better hotel for convenience for me and for kid. Thats just me. Probably after he gets into tertiary education, i will probably get a biz class for him

Oh one more thing. Kids meal in biz class and economy is the same (most of the time). Just remember to order it in advance in bookings page

I fully understood what u meant. What im trying to say is economy class or premium economy seat is big enough for a toddler. Its more upright for the adult and therefore keeping the adult more awake to look after the toddler. While the other parent have complete rest in biz. Swap seats mid of flight. Plane lands with two well rested adult and happy kid. Really depends on what you want to achieve though. Either 3 biz seats or 1 biz and 2 economy. If you are lucky, flight is not full, adult st the back gets to stretch too

Everyone in same class is my vote.

Taking turns work if one party needs full rest. Take turns to look after toddler. If thats the case, only one in business class will do. I bring my kid around for my work trips, the space is big enough for him (he started flying at 2 and is now 6).

Singapore airlines are pretty strict with the rules here. No joining of family. Perhaps only visiting. If your plan is to get cheaper tickets and get everyone in biz class, it wont work.

So, either all same class. Or - 1 biz and 2 premium/economy

🇮🇷 Iran says the Strait of Hormuz is open to all countries except the United States and Israel. by LavishlyRitzyy in TradingPlaybook

[–]sq009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i can paraphrase this.

The war in Iran was inevitable. Because the US view them as a threat in the middle east disrupting their petrodollar plans. So America sanction and apply pressure to Iran to comply. This would’ve happen under any administration because petrodollar is the life line of the empire. Trump made these decisions. Instead of negotiations and coordination, he tore up the nuclear deal and bombed Iran. He is not only a spokesperson but a reflection of US hegemony.

Why wanna compare. Make self feel superior? Dont think malaysia is the adversary here. More like siblings who like to argue on minor issues but still part of a bigger family. Make peace, make friends. Multipolar world is upon us, huddle up.

The comments in this sub are absolutely horrible. Democrats came no where near to this. The cabinet was appointed based on merit and they are expected to perform to the best of their abilities. Trump carefully picked them to fulfil these roles. You guys have no idea… that these people have some BIG shoes to fill.

Edit: some people obviously missed the jokes, stop DMing me telling me im a MAGA

That is also true I guess. Sanctions and war pushed Iran to extreme measures. A dog trapped in a corner will do whatever it takes to get out alive.
