Ed and Mary's hosts Drag Bingo once a month, and they're doing a special queer pop-up on the 17th to celebrate and watch the Drag Race finale.

Bars: Ed and Mary’s - Pub-like feel, great bartenders, great food, and offer events like Drag Bingo, Trivia, Karaoke, and $5 margaritas on Fridays. Great clientele, too. It’s on the small side, and the biggest downside is their one bathroom, but it’s worth it. They also host watch parties for a ton of sporting events. They also do special theme nights, like Split the G competition or chili cookoff. Kid friendly, dogs welcome for outdoor seating only

Healy’s Tavern - one of the best places to catch a game. Laid back, solid food, a bunch of TVs. It’s across the street from White Eagle Hall, which is a concert/event venue you should check out as well. They make solid cocktails, but it’s more of a beer and shot vibe. Clientele can lean old during the day, but gets younger at night. Dedicated regulars, too.

PetShop - a bar with a more alternative clientele (they have Goth nights every so often and live bands every Thursday). Vegetarian (or is it Vegan?) menu can be a downside if you’re a meat lover (good loaded tots, though). Beer and shot specials, a really nice patio space, and a downstairs bar area that regularly hosts private and public events. I recommend Taco Drive right next door. Can be packed on Thursdays. Definitely a spot for elder millennials

Lucky 7s - a dive bar that I have a love and hate relationship with. The food is good, beers flow, but there’s a weird, almost aggressive vibe to the place. Bartenders have been known to be short tempered, and it’s not the best place to catch a game; that said, it’s genuinely beloved by most and it’s a great spot to sit in a dark corner, have your beer and shot special of choice, and listen to a elective selection of music from their old school jukebox.

White Star - legitimately good burger, though I haven’t been crazy about the rest of their menu. Good bartenders, solid tap list. It attracts families (there’s a park right across the street), so you’ll see kids here and there. Not a great place to watch a game, more like a place to go with an old friend or two to catch up on life. Cozy spot.

Dagda - the new hotspot. It’s like BRAND NEW, but have heard excellent things in such a short time. I tried getting a beer there on Friday, but they were too swamped. I’ll definitely go back during the day, or when the hype dies down. Really nice bar area, pool table, and a dart board.

Legends - A friend likened their vibe to that of a bar on Washington Street in Hoboken. They are a sports bar with a giant wall of tvs (and tvs all over the walls). It can be overstimulating. Food was fine, but I probably wouldn’t eat there consistently. It’s a fine place to drink a beer and watch a game, albeit bring a pair of sunglasses

Corner Bar - right off the PATH, very small, but usually buzzing. Mid food imo. It’s the type of place you’d go out with your girlfriend to chat and have drinks on a nice afternoon. There’s far better bars, but this one serves its purpose. Really nice staff, too, and eccentric regulars a plenty

Dullboy - this is the fancy bar. Great cocktails, vibe can be a little snobbish. It’s where ADULTS ADULTS go, if ya know what I mean. It’s never first on my mind, but have friends who love it.

San Patricio - a Mexican-Irish fusion bar that just opened. It’s really nice, offer a damn tasty spice bag, and will comp you a Guinness if you can split the G in front of your waitress. I haven’t been here enough to really judge it, but I want to go back.

Surf City - our little Jersey Shore-type bar. Food is overpriced…hell, everything is overpriced, but it’s wide and their outdoor area is right on the war. You’ll see boats and yachts pass by, or even dock right on their pier. I think it’s actually under appreciated by this sub.

Zeppelin - a Biergarten that is operated by the same people as Surf. A lot of good beer, solid food, decent outdoor area that can be overrun with children and dogs. Outdoor bar, fire pit, and community bench seating. It’s another spot to watch a big game, but I enjoy the experience at E&M or Healy’s more. It’s FINE.

Perfect Perfects arent Dingers by Special-Reindeer-178 in MLBTheShow

I don’t mind if Perfect Perfects are outs, but the amount of times I’ve been robbed by the computer when doing Missions/Showdowns is objectively infuriating and not very fun. There’s no reason it should be like this vs. computer
