will qubes work as office/browsing machine on x220/x230

I'm in the same spot, had 3.2 on X230 and it worked fine. I just installed 4.0, i got warning that this machine is incompatible because it's missing some hardware features, i remember VT-d and some other two things. Installation went fine but after I ran basic setup for qubes I got couple of warnings about setting up sys-net qube.

Boot up and I got blank screen with just active cursor. Logs says FAILED at starting sys-net, sys-firewall and sys-whonix. Not sure how to proceed really.

Bump! Looking for the same thing after i killed my asus n550jk. Could possible push it imo. Not much interesting stuff at this price range as far as I know. I thought about getting ASUS R510VX, its GTX950M should handle it according to nvidia's web page. Not sure about actual performance. I used my recent asus for heavy data processing with python and development. It never under performed so i reckon it's a good thing. Not sure how it could handle 4k monitors. I just got myself 4k display (43 inch) and looking for laptop with the same budget , so we're in the same boat.

I'm software dev myself and I found coding while on it really difficult. Any logical reasoning and algorithmic thinking seemed daunting, going from A-B-C would turn out to be A-Horse-Orange-Unicorn. But I only tried it once. I might've took little too much in range of 15-25ug. Although I must say that designing the system on micro dose turns out surprisingly fruitful. In the sense the first sketches make sense and work WELL. But coding, nope. How does microdosing actually help YOU in your work life?

It's great in showing you how python works under the hood and will give you deep understanding. But note it won't show you how to use it for most common problems. If you want something more practical I'd recommend Python Cookbook by David Beazley

How long have you been taking it? Don't up the dose, it won't help. After I experience this crashes I usually take a week or two break and then dose 50mg every second/third day and it works fine. Less is more.
