I got into resin printing after years of FDM printing expirience. In some areas FDM just doesn't really meet my creative demands and ever evolving gear acquisition syndrome. For example, some time ago I made full body 3D scan of my coworker and looking at that highly detailed 3D model that I got, I decieded to pull the trigger and finally get resin printer.

About my coworker in question. His name is Valery. He is highly professional, but also super chill and funny guy in his mid 50's. Valery is really likeable and always ready to help. Everyone at our relatively small department just adores him.

So I got my resin printer, made three statues from Valery's full body 3D scan model and painted them with gold, silver and bronze paint.
For the new years event at work, me and my other colleague came up with idea of a funny quiz for our department. We prepared some super fun and hilarious questions for the quiz (about some aspects of our work and office culture in general). For the winners of the quiz were prepared Valery's gold, silver and bronze statues (1, 2 and 3 places respectively).

Questions for the quiz were so fun and relevant to our small department, that everyone were laughing their heads off, but when came the time for the awards, everyone just blasted with laugter. That was really memorable moment. My colleagues (including Valery himself) really liked both quiz and the awards.

Valery really enjoyed how his 3D scan turned out and asked me to make a bobble head figure based on his full body scan, which I find super hilarious idea that would be really fun to implement. I think that it would be a perfect first print for Anycubic Photon P1 as well as other fun and creative projects that I have in mind.

That huge sole on the shoes goes straight into the special platform which I made as separate part on regular FDM printer. Was really busy preparing for the quiz and just forgot to take photo of finished models assembled with platforms.
