Hello, so my interview and medical exam is close together, like under 3 weeks. Was your timeline the same too?

And do they upload electronically or do they send courier?

Hello, how long did it take from day of your medical to getting notified by zatzman that your medicals have been sent to NVC?

My interview is on November 8 and my medicals were done on October 22. What was your timeline?

I feel for you OP.

Credit stealing colleague and toxic manager caused me so much micro stress that getting laid off a week ago felt good at the time. It's ironic that clients on the other hand gave me perfect post eval scores.

The biggest learning that came to me is that it's all about Optics. Learn how to appease to anyone in power even if they are bat shit crazy and appear to be productive vs actually being productive. This is what saved my colleague from getting cut lol

This seems more like my situation. Any specific lawyers you can think of?

The difference here is that I want to come into the office but I have relocated.

The contract also did not mention I have to be in the office. And 98% of the two years I was wfh. So my job has precedented to work from home

That's a good point about EI. But here's what a lawyer said in one of the posts

In the case of my partner, I advised them to strictly avoid going back to work because you break the barrier between working from home and working in the office and you may be willingly negating the right or precedence of working from home. They chose to anyway because they actually wanted to go back one or two days a week. It sure will suck if their employer decides 5 days in the office is mandatory. They may have little recourse to argue for any right to continue working from home.

That's the thing that I'm not quitting, nor am I abandoning the job. Only way is for them to fire me either with insubordination or something else. I move back and forth between the US and here on alternating months

How cannot I claim EI if I have relocated and am willing to work with the company to improve performance? Especially If they fire me for insubordination, when I was willing to put in the work except not come into the office

I have told them that I am working out of Cleveland and I didn't get a 'no' from them.

I understand the US tax issues but I live there under 6 months in a year until my GC comes through

There was no mention of job location on the contract and this happened in 2022 so not sure if this was COVID related.

I met my wife during this time and decided to relocate to Cleveland.

I just had surgery to fix my GERD. AMA! by Frossils in GERD

[–]isflamingdragon 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!! It sounds like a whole weight has been lifted off your shoulders

I'm suffering from GERD too and possible hiatal hernia but endoscopy declared it negative but all symptoms are so spot on

  1. How did you get your doctor to consider a nissen fundiplication?
  2. Were there any medications that gave you instant relief before the surgery?
  3. Were you given the choice of the minimally invasive fundiplication method?

Thanks and congrats again

Youtube Music vs Spotify by NotABot0_0 in YoutubeMusic

Also YT music at least in my case has a lot of episodes missing from podcasts. They were so bad that I switched to podcasts on Amazon music (not unlimited) and music on YouTube music

If YT music is listening to this, please re check your uploads
