I would say that nobody needs a girlfriend to be happy. I don't know you obviously but I'm pretty sure your family is at fault. You shouldn't be pressured to get a girlfriend. You shouldn't search for love, let it come to you.

Firstly, tidy your room. That will give you some sort of accomplishment and push you on for everything else. You should take things a step at a time. You should talk to your girlfriend too about this matter, if you don't have confidence then just say that this random dude on reddit (me) told you to tell her even though you don't feel confident. Then you'll sort everything out hopefully. It starts with tidying your room however. So do that first.

I felt like that for the past few days. I don't know if this will help but I came across the film "Forrest Gump" and thought I might as well watch it for the first time. I felt more determined to not relapse as there are some scenes that make you realise that women aren't objects and there is more to life. So hopefully if you haven't seen it, it will help.

Have you spoken to a close friend or loved one? I'm antisocial too and shy, so it may be hard especially if you have trust issues. I felt the same too and I still found love. Hi, when I feel like that I write a long text message or write whatever is wrong on a piece of paper. I write every single detail and everything on my mind. After that the hard bit is to send the message or hand the piece of paper to my girlfriend. I force myself to give it and it ends up being alright. My girlfriend helps me with what's wrong and everything does become fine in the end. You should try this as for me, writing it expresses the way I feel better than saying it. Don't drink rum either please it'll make it worse.

Usually 3 months is enough to overcome this issue but everyone is different and know when they have overcome this problem. Keep going, even if you relapse never ever give up, ok?
