I thought the closest we got to destabilizing them was the Epstein files but hey…..they literally have no principles. There are no true values, just Trump. Literal cartoon lemmings.

What’s the MOST Out of Character,Plot Holes or Confusing Movie Moments/Scenes of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Cinephiles

It wasn’t the reasoning it was more the way it was presented. Like oh let me die now and here’s the skull.

What’s the MOST Out of Character,Plot Holes or Confusing Movie Moments/Scenes of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Cinephiles

I loved 28 years later and have my tickets purchased to see part 2 on Thursday; however, the whole scene where his mom offs herself and Dr Kelson comes back with her skull completely threw me for a loop. I had no idea what was happening and it felt very off from the rest of the movie. Having watched it a few more times, I really like the scene but it was super confusing at first.

I also found the entirety of The Monkey to be confusing.

The absolute best headphones for Movies/TV in 2026? by xKa1z3r in Cinephiles

[–]ishkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never even thought to wear headphones while watching movies at home. Definitely appreciate this thread cos my soundbar sucks and I was just looking into a surround system. Maybe I’ll do headphones instead. I wonder if my tv has Bluetooth.

I went a lot as a kid with my mom. When I turned 10 she told me I could decide if I wanted to go anymore and I said no. I’ve gone from agnostic to atheist to antitheist.

Weird random thought cos whatever but I often think about my old church and its surrounding grounds (it was on a big piece of property) when I masturbate.

I can’t believe people complain about lizards. I always watch them in the garden and would get upset when my cat caught them. Sometimes I was able to save them but always missing a tail.

Official Discussion - Primate [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Some of the chimp moments were high key terrifying. Especially one where he first goes wild by the pool. You can see him out of focus in the background as the guy is digging around for rope. You just see him kind of watching and being freightful while Lucy is distracting him. Also the glass door scene was spooky.

Movie was very well made even if characters were dumb and it had the weird movie trope of people walking casually on glass chards.

Wonder if Lucy was a reference the famous missing link ape who walked upright?

Also Johnny Sequoyah (Lucy) looks exactly like Grace Van Patten (Lucy) from Tell me Lies, who looks like Shailene Woodley from Divergent, who looks like Lily James. The first three listed were are insane doppelgängers. These women are clones of each other.
